Chapter 2 showed us that in Christ, God has done all the work necessary to give us a complete position. It is abundantly clear that the believer is counted dead with Christ and subsequently risen with Him. If these things are true, then we ought not to live after the rudiments of the world, but rather after Christ who is our Head.
