Paul warns the Galatians that false teaching had hindered their spiritual progress, and that a little leaven leavens the whole lump. We must therefore recognize and purge doctrinal error rather than compromise the truth of the gospel. Running well requires knowing God’s will for today, standing for sound doctrine, and faithfully defending the gospel of grace, even in the face of opposition.
