When we are saved (justified by faith) we are told that we have peace with God. Yet we may tend to forget this is true. Like all of our spiritual blessings, we must trust by faith that these things are so. Paul tells us in Colossians 3 to let the peace of God rule in our hearts and to let the word of Christ dwell in us richly.
It is only in God's Word that we find wisdom, as God's Word is where the Spirit teaches us. God's Word works effectually in those who believe it. As we grow in knowledge and spiritual understanding, we are to teach and admonish one another in the body of Christ according to God's abundant grace. This brings us to learning Colossians 3:17 that tells us that whatsoever we do, we are to do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.
