In time past, Gentiles were without hope and without God. Romans 9 reminds us that concerning the flesh, Christ came to Israel. To Israel pertain the adoption, glory, covenants, law, promises, fathers, and more. (Romans 9:4-5 KJB) What happened to Israel? How do Gentiles find themselves able to be saved during their blindness and fall?
As members of the body of Christ we are told that Christ was a minister of the circumcision (Romans 15:8 KJB), but we know him after the flesh no longer (2 Corinthians 5:16 KJB). The mystery of Christ was revealed to the apostle of the Gentiles (the apostle Paul) explaining how all men can be saved without Israel, their law, or their covenants.
“But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.” - Romans 9:31
